Loyola University Chicago Shadow Visit

Paris is a Junior, Environmental Policy major and Journalism minor from Memphis, TN.

Bio: "Hey! My name is Paris McElwee, and I am a junior studying Environmental Policy with a minor in Multimedia Journalism. After graduating, I plan to study and get an Environmental Law and Justice Degree. I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and moved here towards the end of my junior year of high school. As well as being a shadow host, I am a tour guide and a tutor at the Writing Center. I studied abroad in Rome, Italy at the John Felice Rome Center (JFRC) during the fall semester of my sophomore year and I loved every second of it. Alongside working and going to class I am also in Army R.O.T.C. training to become an officer. I love being with my friends, going to events and games, and trying food at the many different restaurants in Chicago. My favorite thing about Loyola is the culture, especially with our diverse student body and their diverse backgrounds. It always creates a fun and welcoming atmosphere at events and games."  


Schedule for your Shadow Visit with Paris

8:15AM -- Check in at the front desk in Undergraduate Admissions (Sullivan Center Room 150)

8:30AM – Attend COMM 260: Environmental Journalism

9:45AM – Breakfast with Paris in one of the dining halls

10:45AM – Return to the Undergraduate Admission Office
