Nevaeh is a Freshman, Education: Early Childhood/Special Education major from LaGrange, IL.

Bio: "Hello! My name is Nevaeh (neh-veh-ah) and I am a freshman in the School of Education, majoring in Special Education. At Loyola, I am a member of Future Teachers Club, LUCES, which is a mentorship program for womxn of color, Students for Reproductive Justice, as well as working for the Undergraduate Admissions office as a First Year Ambassador and Shadow Host. When I am not studying or in class, I love to go to concerts (I recently saw one of my favorite bands, Interpol, at the Salt Shed and I had a blast), explore different neighborhoods in and near Chicago, go shopping for cds to add to my collection and new earrings (I have over 70 funky pairs), read (I love music biographies and thrillers), play my guitar, and relax with my friends by the lake or get a bite to eat. My favorite things about Loyola are the inclusive, welcoming atmosphere it has, the beautiful scenery (the lake!!!), the many events going on every day, and the fact that it is located in the heart of Chicago!"

1:40PM – Attend ENVS 101: The Scientific Basis of Environmental Issues

2:30PM – Lunch with Nevaeh in one of the dining halls

3:30PM – Return to the Undergraduate Admission Office
